Hosting checklist: one printable page

Before the series

Apply with the one form: choose Fluent, Reach or Voice, or “Not sure yet”
Name a staff member to plan the series with Moraph for Good
Choose modules (we suggest three to six); read each kit’s “Take care” section
Agree the written plan: modules, audience, language, dates, Moraph lead, end date
Agree who books the room, who prints, and any volunteer costs such as travel
Room: projector or large screen, tables for groups of three or four
Internet only if the kit lists it; online: an account Moraph or you manage
Access: step-free route, seating, hearing, large print, captions, interpreter
Share your safeguarding rules and your safeguarding lead’s name
Promote it as free, with nothing to sell; keep Voice publicity nonpartisan
Bookings, if any, under your own privacy practices: only what you need
Tell the instructor about access needs and nearby free help services

Test the slides on the screen; keep a printed copy as a fallback
Handouts for your country (where there is one), worksheets, pens, spares
Ground rules: nobody shares their own details; the worksheet goes home
Nobody alone and unobserved with anyone under 18
No photos or recordings without consent (and a parent’s for under-18s)
People use their own devices; no one handles passwords or codes
Personal questions: privately at the break, pointing to free official help
Emergency: call your local number first. Concerns: hello@moraph.org, “URGENT: safeguarding concern”, and your own lead
