Data retention

What we keep, and for how long.

What Moraph for Good keeps about applicants and engagements, where it is held, when it is deleted, and how to ask us to delete it sooner.

In short

  1. Applications are held in Moraph LLC’s systems, under the Moraph privacy policy.
  2. Applications that did not lead to an engagement are deleted 730 days after closing.
  3. Engagement records are kept only as long as Moraph’s contractual and legal obligations require.
  4. Ask for deletion at any time: hello@moraph.org.

What we keep

About applicants

  • What you send in the application: your name, email address and role, your organization’s details, and what you tell us about the problem.
  • The answers you give to the eligibility questions, if you use them.
  • Our messages with you about the application, and the decision with its reasons.
  • Requests for a review, and their outcome.

About engagements

  • The written scope and terms we agree with you, and who the contacts are on each side.
  • Working notes and records of what was delivered and handed over.

Please do not send us passwords or anyone’s personal records in an application. If we need access to your systems during an engagement, we agree how, and remove it at handover.

Where it is kept

Everything is held in Moraph LLC’s systems and handled under the Moraph privacy policy, which also explains your rights. Within those systems, applications are visible only to Moraph for Good staff and administrators (see the conflict-of-interest policy).

Systems we set up for you during an engagement belong to you and stay under your control. Your data in them is yours, and it leaves with you in a usable format.

How long we keep it

Applications that did not lead to an engagement
Deleted 730 days (two years) after the application is closed. Keeping them that long lets us recognize a returning applicant and handle any review or question about the decision.
Engagements
Kept for as long as Moraph needs them to meet its contractual and legal obligations, then deleted.
The private status link
Stops working once the application it belongs to is deleted.

Asking us to delete it

You can ask us to delete what we hold about you or your organization at any time by writing to hello@moraph.org. We will confirm when it is done. If we have to keep something, for example a contract record we are legally required to keep, we will tell you what and why.

Withdrawing an application or asking for deletion never affects a future application.
