Causes
Three causes, one for each thing we know.
Moraph has three industry divisions: financial services, healthcare and government. We chose the public-interest end of each, where the rules are just as strict and the budgets are far smaller.
Cause 01
Financial inclusion
Community lenders and money-advice charities face the same anti-money-laundering exams as the largest banks, with a fraction of the staff.
The problem
A community development credit union answers to the same Bank Secrecy Act examiner as a national bank. A free tax clinic holds the same Social Security numbers a payroll company does. The rules are right; the burden lands hardest on the institutions that serve people the big banks will not.
What Moraph brings
Moraph builds case management, monitoring and records software for regulated finance, and runs the platforms around it for credit unions and broker-dealers. That is the work we bring: tidy, examinable records, controls configured rather than improvised, and someone who has sat through an exam to help you prepare for yours.
Who we support
- Community development credit unions and community development financial institutions
- Free tax preparation and financial counseling nonprofits
- Microlenders and savings groups serving people outside the banking system
- Housing counseling agencies

Cause 02
Health access
A free clinic owes its patients the same privacy as a hospital system, and is often run on donated laptops and goodwill.
The problem
Health privacy law does not scale down. A charitable clinic with a part-time manager carries the same duty to protect patient records as a regional health system, and is a softer target for the same attackers. Referrals still move by fax; prior authorizations still eat clinical hours.
What Moraph brings
Moraph builds referral, prior authorization and records software for health systems and configures collaboration platforms for protected health information. We bring the same configuration, the same security review and the same hands to clinics that could never buy them.
Who we support
- Free and charitable clinics
- Community health centers
- Rural and critical access hospitals
- Harm reduction, recovery and community mental health organizations

Cause 03
Civic resilience
A town of a few thousand people is as attractive to ransomware as a city, and far less likely to have anyone on call.
The problem
Small governments, libraries and legal aid offices hold records people depend on: land titles, court files, benefits, the 911 log. They are often run by one stretched IT generalist, or by nobody. Records requests pile up, and one bad click can close the town hall for weeks.
What Moraph brings
Moraph runs security operations around the clock and builds public records, redaction and citizen-service software for agencies at every level. For the smallest of them, we offer security reviews, help preparing for an incident, and people to finish the project that never gets finished.
Who we support
- Small and rural local governments, counties and special districts
- Tribal governments and their agencies
- Public libraries and library systems
- Legal aid organizations and public defender offices
