Civic engagement

Local government decides about schools, roads, housing and water. Most people have never been shown how to take part.

The problem

Decided by whoever shows up.

Councils, school boards and county commissions decide things that shape daily life, often at meetings few people attend, through processes few people know how to use. Public comment, records requests, advisory boards and election work are open to everyone in principle, and in practice to the people who already know how. Small governments rarely have the staff to make taking part easier.

What Moraph brings

The work Moraph does for government.

Moraph builds public meeting, records, 311 and election worker software for agencies at every level of government, so we know these processes from the inside. Voice teaches them, strictly nonpartisan, and helps small governments make their agendas, forms and public comment easier to use.

Moraph has three industry divisions: financial services, healthcare and government. Civic engagement is what our government people know, given to the public.

Who hosts

Organizations people already trust.

Sessions happen where people already go. If your organization serves the public in one of these ways, in a country where Moraph has an office, you can apply. If you are not on the list, apply anyway and tell us who you serve.
