Conflict of interest

Help that is not a sales channel.

Moraph sells the same software and expertise that Moraph for Good gives. These are the rules that keep the two apart.

In short

  1. Only Moraph for Good staff and administrators can see applications. Sales cannot.
  2. No marketing use of your details, and no requirement to buy anything.
  3. Staff with a personal connection to an applicant step back from decisions.
  4. We do not accept gifts beyond ordinary working courtesies.

Applications are kept from sales

Moraph sells software and services. Moraph for Good gives them away or discounts them. To keep the two apart, applications to Moraph for Good are visible in Moraph’s systems only to Moraph for Good staff and administrators. Sales and account teams cannot see them, and are not told who has applied.

This is enforced in the systems themselves, not left to good intentions.

No marketing use

We do not add applicants or the organizations we support to marketing lists, send them sales material, or use their details to target advertising. We use your details to handle your application and any engagement that follows, and nothing else.

No requirement to buy

Support never depends on buying anything from Moraph, now or later, and we will not move you to a paid contract unless you ask. Whether you are, or have been, a Moraph client plays no part in the decision. If you later choose to buy from Moraph, that happens through Moraph’s normal process, separately from Moraph for Good.

When staff have a personal connection

Anyone at Moraph involved in a decision or an engagement must say if they have a personal connection to the applicant: for example, they work or volunteer there, sit on its board, are related to someone in its leadership, or have a financial interest in it.

Once a connection is declared, that person takes no part in the decision, the review of an appeal, or the choice of who does the work. They may still help with the work itself if the team agrees it is appropriate, and the connection is recorded.

If you know of a connection we may have missed, tell us at hello@moraph.org.

Gifts and hospitality

Organizations we support never need to thank us with gifts. Moraph people do not accept gifts, payments or hospitality from applicants or the organizations they are supporting, beyond the ordinary courtesies of working together, such as a coffee or a working lunch. Anything more is politely declined.

Publicity

We do not name you, quote you or use your logo without your written permission, and saying no never affects your support. Moraph for Good does not take on work whose main purpose is to promote Moraph.
