Money words: the answer key

How to use it

  • Use it while people arrive: leave a sheet and a pen on each seat or on a table by the door, and let people start when they sit down.
  • It is a no-pressure start, not a test. There are no scores, nobody has to answer aloud and nobody hands it in. Working with a neighbor is fine.
  • For people who would rather not read much, read a word and two of the meanings aloud and let them choose. For a large-print copy, use “Print in large print” on this sheet’s web page.
  • When the session starts, go through the answers together only if the group wants to. Read each word, then its meaning.
